This photo looking towards the Pacific entrance of the Canal.  The three booms sticking up in the far distance are cranes at the Balboa Docks. And to give you an idea of how far back we are, those two trees on top of the hill, are the same two trees from the 5th photo. This is looking from the back part of the project and the trees are right behinds us. Another interesting note, bottles from the construction era were found on top of that hill, but before anybody could do a more through investigation, they were bulldozed over.
